Residence Time Distribution Experimentation and Analysis – Training Services provides in-depth training on experimental techniques and data analysis methods to evaluate flow patterns and mixing characteristics in chemical reactors. This course covers the fundamentals of tracer studies, pulse and step input methods, and detection techniques (e.g., conductivity, spectrophotometry). Participants learn to design RTD experiments, interpret E(t) and F(t) curves, calculate mean residence time, variance, and diagnose deviations from ideal flow behavior (plug flow, CSTR). Applications in reactor troubleshooting, scale-up, and performance optimization are also emphasized.
