Photonic Crystals and Nanomaterials – Training Services explores the design, fabrication, and application of nanostructured materials that control and manipulate light at the nanoscale. This training covers the fundamental principles of photonic bandgap materials, fabrication techniques such as self-assembly, lithography, and 3D printing, as well as integration with nanomaterials like graphene, quantum dots, and nanowires. Participants will gain insights into applications in optical communication, lasers, sensors, photovoltaics, and display technologies. The course also highlights challenges in large-scale fabrication, tunability, and future advancements in photonic crystal–nanomaterial hybrids.
