In-situ Mechanical Testing Techniques – Training Services provides specialized training on real-time observation and analysis of material behavior under mechanical loading within advanced microscopy and imaging systems. The program covers the principles of tensile, compression, bending, and nanoindentation tests performed inside SEM, TEM, or X-ray systems. Participants will learn instrumentation setup, specimen preparation, and techniques for correlating mechanical response with microstructural evolution. Emphasis is placed on applications in nanomaterials, thin films, biomaterials, and advanced alloys. Hands-on sessions guide learners in data acquisition, load–displacement analysis, and coupling mechanical data with imaging for a deeper understanding of deformation and failure mechanisms. By the end of the training, participants will be proficient in applying in-situ testing methods for research, material development, and industrial problem-solving.
