Organometallic Chemistry and Reactions – Training Services provide an in-depth exploration of the structure, bonding, and reactivity of organometallic compounds, which serve as a bridge between organic and inorganic chemistry. The program covers fundamental principles, ligand effects, electron counting, and reaction mechanisms such as oxidative addition, reductive elimination, migratory insertion, and β-hydride elimination. Special emphasis is placed on catalytic applications in cross-coupling reactions, olefin polymerization, and hydrofunctionalization processes. Learners will also examine the role of organometallics in green and sustainable synthesis, pharmaceuticals, and materials science.
