Pericyclic Reactions in Organic Chemistry – Training Services focus on the study of concerted reaction mechanisms where bonds are formed and broken in a cyclic transition state. The program covers electrocyclic reactions, cycloadditions, sigmatropic rearrangements, and cheletropic processes, along with the application of Woodward–Hoffmann rules to predict stereochemistry. Participants will learn to analyze reaction pathways, design synthetic strategies, and apply pericyclic reactions in the synthesis of complex molecules. Emphasis is placed on industrial and pharmaceutical applications, reaction optimization, and green chemistry principles. By the end of the training, learners will gain both theoretical understanding and practical expertise in executing and utilizing pericyclic reactions in organic synthesis.
