1] Conference Introduction

As Earth’s atmospheric and surface systems face unprecedented change—from shifting climate patterns and extreme weather events to dynamic interactions between land, sea and air—the need for integrated research and innovation in earth and atmospheric sciences has never been greater. The International Conference on Earth and Atmospheric Sciences (31 October 2026) offers a hybrid global forum for scientists, engineers, policy-makers, educators and practitioners to examine the latest discoveries, modelling approaches, observational systems, and applications spanning the earth-atmosphere continuum. Topics will include climate dynamics, atmospheric chemistry, geophysics, remote sensing, and the interconnections of Earth systems. With in-person and virtual participation, this event by Mastering Up provides a platform to share novel findings, build interdisciplinary collaborations and foster solutions to pressing environmental challenges.

2] Conference Objectives

The objectives of the conference are:

  • To bring together a diverse international community of researchers, scientists, engineers, modelers, remote-sensing experts, policymakers and practitioners in the fields of earth sciences and atmospheric sciences.

  • To highlight recent advances in observation, modelling, data analytics and field/remote sensing of terrestrial, atmospheric and coupled earth-system processes.

  • To promote interdisciplinary collaboration across geosciences, atmospheric sciences, oceanography, climate science, environmental monitoring and applied engineering.

  • To provide a platform for early-career researchers, doctoral candidates and professionals to present their work, get feedback, network with global colleagues, and build new partnerships.

  • To discuss and advance the design and implementation of actionable solutions for environmental monitoring, climate adaptation/mitigation, earth-system resilience and sustainable stewardship of our planet.

3] Conference Outcomes

Participants can expect the following outcomes from the conference:

  • Presentation of high-quality peer-reviewed papers, poster sessions and invited keynote presentations covering cutting-edge topics in earth and atmospheric sciences.

  • Publication opportunities: Selected full-papers from the conference will be invited for publication in leading Scopus and Web of Science (SCI) indexed journals (see section 8 below).

  • Enhanced networking and collaboration opportunities among academic institutions, research labs, industry practitioners and policy-makers across the globe—opening paths for joint research, field campaigns, data sharing and multi-institutional projects.

  • Improved understanding of emerging issues such as extreme events, climate-atmosphere coupling, remote sensing applications, Earth-system feedbacks, and integrative modelling, and how these can be applied to real-world environmental challenges.

  • Recognition through certificates (participation, presentation/publication eligibility) for delegates and presenting authors — helping build professional credentials.

  • Practical take-aways for institutions, governments, and industry on monitoring, modelling, managing and mitigating Earth-system risks — supporting informed decision-making, policy development and sustainable practices.

4] Call for Papers – List of Topics

We invite authors to submit original research papers, review articles, case-studies or methodological reports related (but not limited) to the following themes:

  • Atmosphere–earth surface coupling: dynamics of atmospheric circulation, boundary layer processes, land-atmosphere feedbacks

  • Atmospheric chemistry and aerosols: air-pollution, particulate matter, trace gases, chemical transport modelling

  • Climate dynamics and change: global and regional climate modelling, attribution of change, extreme events, climate variability

  • Remote sensing and Earth observation: satellite/in-situ sensing of atmosphere, land, ocean; data assimilation; big-data analytics

  • Geophysical and Earth-system processes: tectonics, hydrology, cryosphere–atmosphere interactions, ocean–atmosphere linkages

  • Environmental monitoring and instrumentation: sensor networks, measurement techniques, atmospheric measurement systems

  • Earth-system modelling and forecasting: coupled models (land, ocean, atmosphere), climate projections, risk modelling

  • Atmospheric physics and meteorology: convection, clouds, precipitation processes, mesoscale phenomena, weather extremes

  • Climate adaptation, mitigation and resilience: sea-level rise, coastal processes, ecosystem response, modelling of physical hazards

  • Urban and regional atmospheric science: air-quality modelling, urban meteorology, human-environment interactions

  • Data science and machine learning in earth & atmospheric sciences: analytics, forecasting, uncertainty quantification

  • Case-studies of field campaigns, regional monitoring networks, integrative earth-system research projects

We welcome contributions that are scientifically rigorous, methodologically solid, interdisciplinary and oriented toward both fundamental research and applied solutions in earth and atmospheric sciences.
