1] Conference Introduction

In the face of accelerating infrastructure development, urbanisation, climate change and sustainability imperatives, the fields of civil, structural and environmental engineering are evolving rapidly. The International Conference on Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering offers a premier hybrid forum on 14 October 2026 to bring together academics, engineers, researchers, industry practitioners, policymakers and students. This conference seeks to explore innovations in structural systems, infrastructure resilience, sustainable environmental engineering, advanced materials, design optimisation, construction management, geotechnical and water resources engineering — all aimed at addressing the pressing engineering challenges of the 21st century. Whether your focus lies in resilient structures, eco-friendly materials, climate-adaptive infrastructure, urban water systems or construction technologies, you are invited to join this global dialogue.

2] Conference Objectives

The objectives of the conference include:

  • To convene a diverse international community of civil, structural and environmental engineers, researchers, industry professionals and policymakers to exchange knowledge and best practices.

  • To spotlight emerging trends and challenges in infrastructure design, structural engineering, environmental sustainability, materials innovation, geotechnics and water/urban systems under changing environmental contexts.

  • To foster interdisciplinary collaboration across structural engineering, environmental engineering, civil infrastructure, materials science, geotechnical engineering and construction management.

  • To provide a platform for early-career researchers, postgraduate students and professionals to present their work, receive feedback, network globally and build their professional visibility.

  • To translate research and innovation into practice — equipping participants with insights to design, build and manage resilient, sustainable and high-performance infrastructure in the built environment.

3] Conference Outcomes

Participants can expect the following outcomes from the conference:

  • Presentation of high-quality peer-reviewed research papers, poster sessions and invited talks covering advanced themes in civil, structural and environmental engineering.

  • Publication opportunities: Selected full-papers will be invited for publication in leading Scopus and Web of Science (SCI)-indexed journals (see section 8 below) for international recognition.

  • Networking and collaboration opportunities with researchers, industry practitioners, infrastructure developers, policymakers and global peers — paving way for future joint projects, consultancy, innovation initiatives and academic-industry partnerships.

  • Enhanced understanding of key cutting-edge topics: sustainable infrastructure, smart materials, performance-based design, climate-adaptive engineering, advanced computational methods and environmental resilience.

  • Certificates of participation (for all delegates) and presentation/publication eligibility (for authors) — strengthening professional credentials.

  • Practical take-aways for engineering professionals, academics and institutions — actionable frameworks, design insights, environmental strategies and innovation pathways for built-environment challenges.

4] Call for Papers – List of Topics

We invite authors to submit original research papers, review articles, case-studies or implementation-reports related (but not limited) to the following themes:

  • Structural engineering: steel, concrete, composite structures, performance-based design, seismic/earthquake-resistant design

  • Infrastructure and civil engineering: bridges, tunnels, high-rise buildings, lifeline systems, urban infrastructure

  • Geotechnical and foundation engineering: soil–structure interaction, ground improvement, slope stability, earth-retaining systems

  • Environmental engineering: water and wastewater systems, storm-water management, sustainable urban drainage, treatment technologies

  • Sustainable & green infrastructure: life-cycle assessment, circular economy in construction, eco-materials, resilient infrastructure under climate change

  • Construction materials & technologies: advanced composites, smart materials, 3D printing in construction, durability, corrosion and degradation

  • Computational methods & modelling: finite-element analysis, structural health monitoring, digital twins, machine-learning in structural/environmental systems

  • Water resources & hydraulic engineering: rivers, canals, coastal engineering, hydrology, flood risk and management

  • Environmental impact, climate adaptation of infrastructure, resilience-based design, environmental hazards, risk assessment

  • Building services & environmental control: sustainable building systems, energy-efficient structures, lifecycle cost optimisation

  • Construction management, project management, infrastructure asset management, maintenance and rehabilitation strategies

  • Environmental monitoring & instrumentation: sensors, IoT, remote-sensing, smart systems for built and natural environment

We welcome innovative, rigorous, interdisciplinary contributions that will advance knowledge, practice and sustainable solutions in civil, structural and environmental engineering.
