1] About the Hackathon

The International Hackathon on Education Technology and Digital Learning 2026 is an innovation-driven global challenge designed to reimagine the future of education in the digital age. As virtual classrooms, AI tutors, and immersive learning ecosystems reshape how we teach and learn, this hackathon empowers innovators, developers, educators, and researchers to create transformative solutions that make education more accessible, personalized, and impactful.

Participants will address real-world educational challenges by leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as AI, AR/VR, gamification, learning analytics, and adaptive systems. The goal is to revolutionize the learning experience across schools, universities, and corporate training systems.

2] Problem Statements / Tracks

Track 1: AI-Powered Personalized Learning

Problem: One-size-fits-all education limits learner engagement and performance.
Expected Solution: Develop AI-driven systems that adapt content, pace, and feedback to individual learner profiles and learning styles.

Track 2: Gamification and Motivation Systems

Problem: Many students lack motivation and find online learning monotonous.
Expected Solution: Design gamified e-learning platforms integrating rewards, leaderboards, and real-time feedback to boost participation and retention.

Track 3: AR/VR-Based Immersive Learning

Problem: Students struggle with practical concepts in remote learning.
Expected Solution: Build AR/VR applications for immersive experiences in science, engineering, or arts education, enhancing conceptual clarity and interaction.

Track 4: Digital Assessment and Proctoring Tools

Problem: Online exams often suffer from issues of fairness, integrity, and accessibility.
Expected Solution: Create secure, AI-enabled tools for automated assessment, plagiarism detection, and ethical remote proctoring.

Track 5: Learning Analytics and Early Intervention

Problem: Educators often lack real-time insights into student performance and engagement.
Expected Solution: Develop analytics dashboards that identify learning gaps early and provide predictive insights for intervention and personalized support.

Track 6: Inclusive and Accessible Education Platforms

Problem: Learners with disabilities face barriers in accessing digital education.
Expected Solution: Build inclusive learning tools that support multi-sensory input, text-to-speech, closed captions, and language localization.

Track 7: Teacher Support and AI Co-Teaching Tools

Problem: Teachers face high workloads in managing content, grading, and mentoring.
Expected Solution: Design AI-based co-teaching assistants that automate administrative tasks, generate adaptive quizzes, and provide teaching insights.

Track 8: Hybrid Learning Ecosystem Integration

Problem: Many institutions struggle to blend online and offline learning effectively.
Expected Solution: Create frameworks or tools that synchronize classroom activities with digital platforms for a seamless hybrid learning experience.

Track 9: Skill-Based and Lifelong Learning Systems

Problem: Traditional education systems often fail to align with emerging job skills.
Expected Solution: Develop adaptive platforms that map learner progress to career pathways, integrating certifications and real-world skill assessment.

Track 10: Student Innovation Challenge

Theme: Open category for students to propose creative EdTech or digital learning innovations—apps, tools, or frameworks—that enhance engagement, accessibility, and lifelong learning.
