1] About the Hackathon

The International Hackathon on Financial Management and Economic Strategies 2026 invites innovators, analysts, economists, and developers to design solutions that redefine the future of finance, investment, and sustainable economic development.

With digital transformation reshaping global economies, this hackathon aims to explore data-driven financial strategies, FinTech innovation, economic forecasting, and AI-driven fiscal policy tools that empower individuals, businesses, and governments to make smarter, more resilient financial decisions.

Participants will collaborate to create practical, tech-enabled financial and economic systems that promote inclusivity, transparency, and stability in global markets.

2] Problem Statements / Tracks

Track 1: Predictive Economic Modeling for Policy Decisions

Problem: Policymakers struggle to make timely fiscal decisions due to lagging economic indicators.
Expected Solution: Build AI-based predictive analytics models or simulation platforms for real-time macroeconomic forecasting and scenario analysis.

Track 2: Financial Inclusion for the Unbanked Population

Problem: Billions globally still lack access to formal banking and credit systems.
Expected Solution: Design mobile-based microfinance, blockchain wallets, or credit scoring systems to bring unbanked individuals into the financial ecosystem.

Problem: Financial institutions face increasing risks of fraud and digital theft.
Expected Solution: Create AI-powered anomaly detection tools, secure authentication systems, or blockchain-ledger monitoring solutions for financial fraud prevention.

Track 5: Optimizing Government Budgets through Data Analytics

Problem: Many governments and municipalities lack efficient systems to manage public budgets.
Expected Solution: Build smart budget allocation dashboards or fiscal management systems using data visualization and predictive analytics.

Track 6: Financial Literacy and Gamified Learning Tools

Problem: A lack of financial education prevents individuals from making informed financial choices.
Expected Solution: Develop gamified apps, AI tutors, or interactive financial education platforms to teach budgeting, investing, and savings skills.

Track 7: Inflation Tracking and Cost-of-Living Tools

Problem: Individuals and small businesses struggle to adapt to inflationary pressures.
Expected Solution: Create apps or dashboards that track inflation trends, predict price fluctuations, and offer budgeting or investment advice.

Track 8: Smart Taxation and Compliance Automation

Problem: Tax filing and compliance processes remain complex, time-consuming, and prone to errors.
Expected Solution: Build intelligent tax management platforms, automated filing systems, or AI-based compliance checkers for businesses and individuals.

Track 9: Crisis-Resilient Financial Systems

Problem: Economic crises, like pandemics or wars, disrupt financial markets and personal stability.
Expected Solution: Design models for financial risk mitigation, decentralized insurance systems, or crisis management planning tools for economies and enterprises.
