The International Hackathon on General Medicine and Advanced Medical Innovations aims to bring together medical professionals, researchers, engineers, and students to address the pressing healthcare challenges of the modern world. This event provides an interdisciplinary platform to ideate and develop breakthrough solutions in diagnostics, therapeutics, preventive medicine, and healthcare delivery systems.

Participants will engage in developing real-world applications that leverage emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, wearable devices, and telemedicine to improve patient care, diagnosis accuracy, and treatment accessibility worldwide.

🔹 2] Problem Statements / Tracks

1. AI-Driven Early Disease Detection Systems
Problem: Many diseases such as diabetes, cancer, and cardiovascular issues remain undetected until advanced stages.
Expected Solution: Develop an AI-based platform or diagnostic tool capable of identifying disease markers from health data or medical imaging for early and accurate detection.

2. Remote Patient Monitoring for Chronic Diseases
Problem: Managing patients with chronic illnesses requires constant monitoring that is often unavailable in rural or low-resource settings.
Expected Solution: Create a wearable or IoT-based system that collects real-time health data (e.g., glucose, heart rate, oxygen levels) and alerts healthcare providers for intervention.

3. Personalized Treatment Using Predictive Analytics
Problem: Standardized treatments often ignore individual differences in genetics and response to therapy.
Expected Solution: Design a data-driven predictive tool that uses patient records and genetic information to recommend personalized treatment protocols.

4. Smart Drug Delivery Systems
Problem: Traditional drug administration often results in poor dosage control or reduced efficacy.
Expected Solution: Develop a smart delivery device or embedded system that releases drugs in controlled doses based on real-time physiological feedback.

5. Affordable Point-of-Care Diagnostic Devices
Problem: Lack of affordable diagnostic solutions limits healthcare accessibility in rural areas.
Expected Solution: Build a portable, low-cost diagnostic device capable of detecting common infections or conditions quickly and accurately.

6. AI-Powered Clinical Decision Support Tool
Problem: Physicians often face decision fatigue due to the vast volume of patient data and clinical guidelines.
Expected Solution: Create a machine learning model that supports doctors in diagnosis and treatment planning by analyzing patient symptoms and historical data.

7. Telemedicine and Virtual Consultation Enhancement
Problem: Existing telehealth systems lack integration with real-time diagnostic data and patient history.
Expected Solution: Design a telemedicine interface that integrates wearable device data, electronic medical records, and AI-assisted consultation for better virtual care.

8. Rehabilitation and Assistive Robotics
Problem: Patients recovering from injuries or disabilities require continuous physical support and rehabilitation.
Expected Solution: Build an assistive robotic prototype or exoskeleton for physical therapy and patient mobility support.

9. Infection Control and Hospital Hygiene Automation
Problem: Hospital-acquired infections are a persistent global problem.
Expected Solution: Develop a sensor-based or robotic system that automates sanitization, tracks infection risk zones, and ensures compliance with hygiene protocols.

10. Individual Innovation Track
Participants may propose any innovative idea related to general medicine, healthcare technology, or advanced medical innovations, such as novel diagnostic tools, medical AI applications, or bioengineering solutions.

• Team Size: 2–4 Members

• Eligibility: Open to medical students, healthcare professionals, engineers, innovators, and interdisciplinary researchers.

• Code of Conduct:

  • Ensure originality of ideas and maintain professional ethics.

  • Respect all mentors, judges, and fellow participants.

  • Use only open-source or properly licensed datasets/tools.

  • Plagiarized or previously submitted solutions will be disqualified.
