Acoustic Emission Testing Techniques – Training Services provides specialized knowledge in using acoustic emission (AE) methods for real-time monitoring of crack initiation, material degradation, and structural health. The training covers AE principles, wave propagation, sensor selection, signal processing, and noise filtering. Participants will gain hands-on experience in setting up AE systems, performing calibration, and interpreting source location data. Case studies from aerospace, civil infrastructure, pipelines, and pressure vessels are explored to demonstrate practical applications. Emphasis is placed on standards, reliability, and integration of AE techniques into nondestructive testing (NDT) and structural health monitoring (SHM) systems.
