Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES) – Training Services

Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES) – Training Services provides comprehensive training on the principles and applications of AES for surface chemical analysis at the nanoscale. The program covers the fundamentals of Auger electron emission, electron beam–sample interactions, and instrumentation setup. Participants will learn sample preparation techniques, spectrum acquisition, and data interpretation for determining elemental composition and chemical states. Special focus is given to depth profiling, thin film characterization, contamination analysis, and interface studies. Applications in nanotechnology, semiconductors, metallurgy, and surface engineering are emphasized throughout the course. Hands-on sessions guide learners in using AES software for spectral analysis and quantitative evaluation. By the end of the program, participants will be proficient in applying AES for advanced research and industrial surface characterization.
