Central Nervous System (CNS) Drug Design – Training Services provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of strategies and techniques for designing drugs targeting neurological and psychiatric disorders. The training covers CNS pharmacology, blood-brain barrier considerations, target identification, structure-activity relationships (SAR), and optimization of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties. Participants will learn approaches for lead identification, rational drug design, and development of therapeutics for conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, depression, and epilepsy. Case studies highlight applications in improving efficacy, selectivity, and safety of CNS drugs. The program also addresses regulatory guidelines, quality control, and ethical considerations in CNS drug research.
