Crystallographic and Spectroscopic Techniques – Training Services provides an integrated approach to understanding the structural and chemical properties of materials using complementary analytical methods. The training introduces crystallographic techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD) and electron diffraction, alongside spectroscopic methods including Raman, FTIR, UV-Vis, and NMR. Participants will learn how these tools provide insights into crystal structure, bonding, molecular vibrations, and electronic transitions. Emphasis is placed on sample preparation, instrumentation, data acquisition, and interpretation of both crystallographic patterns and spectroscopic spectra. Case studies highlight applications in materials science, pharmaceuticals, nanotechnology, and chemistry. Practical sessions give learners hands-on experience in combining crystallographic and spectroscopic data for comprehensive material characterization. By the end of this training, participants will be capable of selecting and applying the right mix of techniques for advanced research and industrial applications.
