Curve Fitting and Regression Analysis in Physics – Training Services provides training on applying statistical and computational techniques to model experimental and simulated data. The course covers linear and nonlinear regression, least squares fitting, polynomial and spline fitting, and parameter estimation using Python and MATLAB. Participants will learn to analyze physics datasets, quantify uncertainties, and assess model accuracy. Emphasis is placed on visualizing fitted curves, residual analysis, and interpreting physical significance of model parameters.
