Electrode Processes and Mechanisms – Training Services provides an in-depth exploration of the reactions and transformations occurring at the electrode–electrolyte interface. The training covers fundamental processes such as electron transfer, adsorption, desorption, and coupled chemical reactions. Participants will study concepts like heterogeneous and homogeneous mechanisms, surface catalysis, and the role of electrode materials in influencing reaction pathways. Emphasis is placed on understanding how reaction kinetics, mass transport, and interfacial structures govern electrode performance. The course also highlights practical applications in electroplating, corrosion, electrocatalysis, batteries, and biosensors.
