Fast Ion Physics in Fusion Plasmas – Training Services provides an in-depth study of the behavior, dynamics, and interactions of energetic ions in magnetically confined plasmas. The training covers fast ion generation, slowing-down processes, orbit dynamics, and their role in plasma heating and current drive. Participants will explore the impact of fast ions on stability, wave–particle interactions, and the development of instabilities such as Alfvén eigenmodes.
