Materials Informatics and Machine Learning – Training Services provides advanced training on applying data-driven approaches and AI techniques to accelerate materials discovery and characterization. The program covers the fundamentals of materials informatics, database management, feature engineering, and machine learning algorithms such as regression, classification, clustering, and neural networks. Participants will learn how to analyze large datasets, build predictive models, and discover structure–property relationships using tools like Python, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow. Emphasis is placed on applications in alloy design, polymer development, battery materials, and nanomaterials. Hands-on sessions include dataset preparation, model training, validation, and visualization for decision-making in research and industry. By the end of the course, learners will be proficient in integrating machine learning with materials science for innovation and predictive analysis.
