Surface Characterization Techniques – Training Services provides a comprehensive understanding of analytical methods used to study surface morphology, composition, and properties of materials. The training covers techniques such as Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), and Contact Angle Measurements. Participants will learn about sample preparation, instrumentation, data acquisition, and interpretation of results for different material surfaces. Emphasis is placed on applications in nanotechnology, coatings, biomaterials, semiconductors, and corrosion studies. Hands-on sessions guide learners in evaluating surface roughness, chemical states, wettability, and functional properties. By the end of the program, participants will be skilled in selecting and applying surface characterization methods for both research and industrial problem-solving.
