Time Domain and Frequency Domain Analysis – Training Services introduces participants to two fundamental approaches for analyzing vibration and acoustic signals. The training covers signal representation in the time domain for understanding amplitude, phase, damping, and transient behaviors, while the frequency domain approach highlights spectral content, resonances, and harmonics. Participants will learn to apply mathematical transforms such as Fourier Transform, Laplace Transform, and FFT to switch between domains effectively. The course also addresses correlation techniques, system response analysis, and real-world signal interpretation. Practical sessions focus on using instrumentation and software to capture and process signals in both domains for applications in machinery diagnostics, structural health monitoring, acoustics, and control systems.
