Vibrational Circular Dichroism (VCD) – Training Services

Vibrational Circular Dichroism (VCD) – Training Services provides participants with specialized knowledge of how vibrational transitions in chiral molecules interact with circularly polarized light. The training covers the theoretical principles of VCD, instrumentation setup, and spectral interpretation for determining absolute configuration and conformational analysis of biomolecules and pharmaceuticals. Participants will gain hands-on insights into using VCD alongside IR and Raman spectroscopy for complementary structural studies. Applications include drug design, stereochemistry, natural product analysis, and protein structure investigations. By the end of the program, learners will be equipped to apply VCD in both research and industrial contexts for advanced molecular characterization.
