Volcanic and Magmatic Chemistry – Training Services focus on the chemical composition and processes of magmas, volcanic rocks, and related geological phenomena. The program covers magma formation, differentiation, volcanic gas emissions, and the geochemical evolution of igneous systems. Participants will learn analytical techniques such as X-ray fluorescence, mass spectrometry, and electron microprobe analysis to study volcanic and magmatic materials. Emphasis is placed on understanding volcanic hazards, geothermal energy potential, and the role of magmatic processes in Earth’s crust formation. By the end of the training, learners will gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to investigate volcanic activity and magmatic chemistry for research and applied geoscience.
